Privacy

What we collect

• Your account: username, display name, email, password (stored scrambled — we can't read it), and the city and state you choose to add.
• What you post: requests, photos, updates, notes, and your payment handles (shown publicly on your requests).
• When you help: the amount and name you enter, and your email if you choose to leave it.
• Visits from shared links: counted using a scrambled code that changes daily. We don't store your IP address for this.

What we show publicly

Your display name, city/state, requests, notes and payment handles. Never your email address.

Cookies and other services

• A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that sign-ups and some forms come from real people.
• Google may show ads on FreeBeg and use cookies to do it. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.
• Payment buttons take you to Cash App, Venmo, PayPal or another service, which have their own privacy policies.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information. We only email you about your own account and requests — never marketing for other companies.

Deleting your information

Use the contact form from the email on your account and we'll delete your account and what you posted.
